Tailgating encouraged in parking areas near the course and at Tropicana Field lots, plus the RV lots.

Items not allowed into facility:
- Alcoholic beverages, coolers (or any food and beverage), glass bottles or cans, stadium seats, fireworks, firearms and weapons, commercial signs or banners or advertisements (including group attire), signs or banners that impair spectator vision or safety.
- Lawn furniture or folding chairs (except in RV Park).
- Pets (except certified service animals assisting those with disabilities).
- Noise makers, horns, inflatables, helium balloons, beach balls.
- Bicycles and scooters, skates, skateboards and rollerblades.
- Handbills or samples (except as expressly approved in writing by the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg).
